Christian Red is an award-winning sports writer who spent 16 years at the New York Daily News. He was a member of The News' Sports I-Team, and he won two APSE first-place awards (2008 and 2013) for investigative reporting, and an APSE first- place award (2012) for features writing. He has also written for the New York Times, Washington Post, The Athletic, New York Post, Newsday, ESPN, and NBC News. He is the co- author of two books, "American Icon: The Fall of Roger Clemens and the Rise of Steroids in America's Pastime" and "Baseball Cop: The Dark Side of America's National Pastime." He is also the father of Lily Red, and is married to his wife, Beth O'Neil.
